Creating Validation for a Company’s Market Leadership

This company, in the embedded software space for multicore packet processing, was looking to increase its market visibility. A first problem was that website traffic had been low and stagnant for years. Within the first two months of working with Emissary, which included home page content redrafting and PR efforts, the company saw record website visits that were sustained ever since.

Continued PR efforts included placement of contributed articles in key publications, one of which was a cover story for a premier EE magazine, Embedded Systems Design. News releases were also used to continue to secure media coverage and the company was routinely featured in all important trade magazines.

On-Going Efforts

Alongside continual PR efforts, several marketing efforts also contributed to fuel the company’s growth, which during its work with Emissary resulted in record sales.

The company had no product data sheets / brochures and Emissary designed all (4) initial product data sheets / brochures including, drafting the content for them. A company blog was also implemented which gained successful contributions from its ecosystem partners and Emissary Communications edited the company’s blog contributions.

In addition, Emissary provided the company with management of trade show sponsorships and speaker submissions, resulting in several speaker slots at key industry events.

Results

By the end of the first year we had produced hundreds of media stories, newly crafted market messaging and collateral, and participation at key industry events.

The end result was that the company’s solution was clearly fixed as the industry benchmark, a #1 market position with record revenue.
